Dacris Benchmarks 6.0 - a.k.a. Dacris PC Toolkit Beta is coming in June!
February 6, 2002 -- Dacris Software has announced a major revision to its flagship product, Dacris Benchmarks. Code-named "Dacris Benchmarks 6", this entirely new product will integrate the best features from Dacris PC Designer and Dacris TweakWiz into an application service framework which is currently being referred to as Dacris Framework.
Dacris Framework will create a consistent user interface for all future Dacris Software products. Dacris Framework-based products will be organized according to the services that they provide. Each application that Dacris Software ships will contain several different services within that same application that allow you to perform various tasks. Finally, Dacris Framework is currently able to download almost the entire product from the Dacris Software server, thus eliminating the need for large installation packages and web-update features. With Dacris Framework, web-update will be as simple as restarting the program and re-downloading the necessary components. For dial-up users, an offline version of Dacris Framework will be provided.
