Is it just me and my local area, or does Yahoo Messenger just LOVE to disconnect for no good reason? On both my work ISP (Global Crossing) and at home (RoadRunner), I get dropped as many as 20 times a day!
I've run constant pings to their servers - no latency problems.
I've run constant pathpings and trace routes - no packet loss issues.
Are their servers just not beefy enough to handle the traffic?

By the way, this also happens on Trillian - not just the Yahoo branded client!

Seems to be the crappy netcode on their clients. I encountered the problem that my complete trillian was disc. because of Yahoo.
