ML4W OS 2.11.0 Update: Easy SDDM Wallpaper Sync for a Seamless Desktop Experience
A new update, ML4W OS 2.11.0, has been released to solve a common problem with SDDM wallpapers. In previous versions, major driver tweaks or display-manager roll-outs would cause the wallpaper to be lost, leaving users staring at a bland gray background before logging in. The new script in ML4W OS copies the active desktop image into SDDM's theme directory, so the login screen no longer looks different from the desktop background.

ML4W OS has released version 2.11.0, which addresses the issue of losing SDDM wallpapers after major updates. The new script allows users to sync their active desktop wallpaper with the login screen, preventing the bland gray background problem previously encountered. To utilize this feature, users can run a terminal command that checks if the session is running, then copies the current wallpaper into SDDM’s theme directory and restarts the display manager. For fresh installations, users can download the latest ISO from ML4W's GitHub, or existing Arch-based systems can update via the Dotfiles Installer in the Welcome App
