CrapFixer 1.2 Released

Belim has officially launched CrapFixer 1.2, introducing a variety of upgrades and bug fixes aimed at enhancing user experience and performance. Among the notable improvements is an update to the CFEnhancer Plugin, which now supports both external and extended signatures. This update allows users to exclude specific apps from search results by utilizing a new whitelist system; simply prefixing the app name with an "!" will prevent it from being marked as bloatware.

Additionally, the new version includes key enhancements for Windows 11 24H2, aimed at increasing stability. Automatic saving of application settings has also been implemented, eliminating the need for users to manually click "Save." However, it is important to note that after downloading plugins, a restart of the app is required, which is now clearly indicated in the Plugins section. Users are also reminded to enable the option under Options > Settings to ensure their settings are saved to an INI file.

The online log analyzer tool has received several minor improvements, and numerous small bugs have been addressed to optimize functionality.

Important Note: Users should be aware that the app's name has changed from "Crapfixer" to "CrapFixer," resulting in a change to the URL for the update page on GitHub Pages. Those using older versions may encounter a 404 error. If anyone has experience with GitHub Pages, assistance in temporarily fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

For those looking to enhance their experience further, it is recommended to visit Options > Plugins and click the "Update all Plugins" button upon upgrading to version 1.2.
