AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 25.9.2 released

Published by

AMD has officially launched the Adrenalin Edition 25.9.2 drivers for both Windows 10 and 11, introducing significant enhancements for gamers. This update notably adds support for the new AMD Radeon RX 7700 graphics products, expanding the compatibility for users and promising smoother gaming experiences. Additionally, the update brings support for the new game Dying Light: The Beast, further enriching the gaming library available to users.

Alongside the new features, AMD has addressed several issues that were previously hindering user experiences. For example, they have fixed corruption issues that arose in games utilizing the Godot engine with Vulkan, and they resolved intermittent crashes in Cronos: The New Dawn when Ray Tracing was enabled on certain Radeon RX 9070 series cards. However, some issues persist, such as sporadic crashes during gameplay in The Last of Us Part II and NBA 2K25's MyCareer mode for Radeon RX 7900 and 9070 series graphics products, respectively. AMD is actively working on solutions for these problems.

Users may also face other challenges, including graphical corruption in GTFO on Radeon RX 7000 products, application crashes or driver timeouts in Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing enabled, and stuttering during VR gaming at certain refresh rates. AMD recommends adjusting the refresh rate as a temporary fix for the VR-related issues. Additionally, players may experience intermittent crashes in World of Warcraft or while watching YouTube on Radeon RX 7900 GRE products, and a workaround for gaming with EA’s Javelin anticheat and Radeon Anti-Lag is to disable the latter.

In summary, while the Adrenalin Edition 25.9.2 drivers bring many improvements and new features, users may still encounter several known issues. AMD is committed to identifying and rectifying these problems in future updates to enhance the overall gaming experience.
