There hasn?t been much word or news about Windows Vista, due to the fact that the PDC 2005 (Professional Developers Conference) is just a mere few days from start (actually three days to go!). Today, three blurred, ?mosaic? and enlarged pictures were posted on the Hive Community. The three pictures portray in-game screenshots of probably three new games that might be included in Windows Vista.

PDC (Professional Developers Conference) 2005 is just under a week before it kicks off in Los Angeles. Attendees will be given a ?goodie? bag which consist a Windows Vista build out of all the other ?yummy? goodies. The Windows Vista build that will be given out to PDC 2005 attendees will have a ?birth mark? of Build 5219, a post Beta 1 build of Windows Vista.

Microsoft Update now works with IE7
When Internet Explorer 7 Beta released to testers it left testers with a broken Windows Update that wouldn't load properly, disabling the ability to update Windows with critical patches that have been released since the end of July. This seems to of been fixed and on my PC it even redirects to Microsoft Update before my chosen homepage is loaded.

WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe is the redistributable package for installing or upgrading Windows Installer. Phishing Addin for MSN Search Toolbar
Today, Microsoft released the ?Phishing? tool, as an addin for the MSN Search Toolbar (Beta). Lately, users have been engulfed with a number of emails posing to be from popular companies such as Paypal, Ebay or even banks. XP SP3 Hotfix - Stop 0x000007B error after SP2 install
Microsoft has given us another hint for a fix that's going to be included in WindowsXP SP3. Sometimes users may get a "Stop 0x000007B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error message after installing Windows XP Service Pack 2. The downloadable fix is available by calling Microsoft Support and requesting it if absolutely needed. Note that the fix they give you may still be in testing.
