I know, the title of this post is a bit misleading Anyway, sometime ago the Microsoft Office team launched their Office 12 preview website. Visitors will have the opportuinty to sign up for the latest updates for Office 12 and receive the latest announcments! XP SP3 Hotfix - Stop 0x000007B error after SP2 install

Microsoft has given us another hint for a fix that's going to be included in WindowsXP SP3. Sometimes users may get a "Stop 0x000007B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error message after installing Windows XP Service Pack 2. The downloadable fix is available by calling Microsoft Support and requesting it if absolutely needed. Note that the fix they give you may still be in testing.

Visual Studio 2005 - RTM Release

A program manager from the Visual Studio team has made word, via a blog post, that the new version of Visual Studio 2005 (Codename Whidbey) will be released to manufacturing (RTM) within sixty (60) days from today, August 16 2005. Currently, there are only a mere few bugs left and the team is hoping end development on Visual Studio 2005 by mid October 2005. Novemeber 7th is the target launch date.

Official MSN Messenger 7.5 BETA going public

Until this moment the MSN Messenger 7.5 BETA was supposed to be available to selected BETA-testers only, while the rest of the world (except for Italy) had to exercise patience... or not. But it seems like Microsoft is planning a worldwide public BETA for 7.5 dubbed MSN Messenger Technical Preview and mainly focused on the Vodafone integration.
