Well, this tools are a little bit older and I don´t know if we posted it allready, but I think it could be useful and some people don´t know about them. You all noticed that you are only able to install WinXP on your computer, when you have a bootable CD-ROM. Our big friend Bink who does our Newsletters has just put out Newsletter 19 with a tasty link included to Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 Beta!. Please bear in mind that after installing this entirely at your own risk you will NOT be able to access Windows Update until a newer version of the Service Pack is leaked/released. The expected release date is early 2002 (meaning around February) for the full version. This is quite a stable release and is impressive!

Overcome IE6 XP FTP Folder Issue!

Actually I don't know if this is news for some of you but I had problems displaying FTP server contents in IE6 XP. Either I couldn't connect or the page could not be displayed. Well there is an easy solution to this issue: In IE6 XP open the Tools tab -> goto Internet Options -> Advanced tab -> scroll down till you find Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility) -> TICK this setting -> hit Apply This should resolve all problems with accessing FTP servers.
