Just got word from Visionary that Canopus have released a new Nvidia GeForce4 card. Here's what he's saying:

Just got word from Crow that Suma have released a New GeForce4 MX 440 Platinum Card! Here's some of the Spec's from Darkcrow.

S/U/M/A (www.suma.co.kr) in Korea, announced the GeForce4 MX 440 Platinum Power-Up(64MB) and is clocked@ 270/400 MHz = Core @ Memory using 4.0ns BGA type Memory.

GRANDMARS RADEON 8500 PRO AVAILABLE!

The company GSM-International has the Radeon 8500 PRO available on April 16th 2002. Here is some information I got about this card: The spec. is: BGA DDR by using 128 bit Samsung 3.3ns memory (4 x 64M). With external RAMDAC which can support double D-sub output. However, the sample passed to editor for testing was just 290/300MHz. Speed is similar to Ti4400. This card could be a nice Geforce 4 killer. A review comes up in the next days on Warp2Search. Club3D introduces GeForce4 Titanium 4600 board: The Club3D GeForce4 Ti4600 (CGN-2568 TVD) is built meeting NVidia's reference design and are clocked accordingly at 300/650 MHz for core and 128 MB of DDR SDRAM memory. The interesting fact about Club3D board is quite eccentric GPU cooling system as well as memory cooling radiators.

Just got word from DarkCrow.co.kr that SUMA are launching a new GeForce4 card and it's the SUMA GeForce4 Ti4600 SE 128MB! Here's some of the specs from Darkcrow.

It has 300/650 MHz core/memory clock, and Dual DVI output as you can see a photo. (Of course, for D-sub user it is included DVI to D-sub converter.)

SUMA GeForce4 Ti 4600 SE supports VIVO, so includes S-Video and Composite cables.

NVIDIA will use DDR memory on all its products because of the rapidly increasing price of the SDR type.

This move should increase performance whilst keeping the cost the same, hopefully providing a cheapo version of the MX440 that in our reviews has had a more negative response due to its high price.

AMD has issued the latest version of their Thermal, Mechanical, and Chassis Cooling Design Guide which is the official guideline for hardware vendors to build their products on. According to the January 2002 release of the technical white paper AMD recommends that the four mounting holes surrounding the Socket A are removed from the so called Motherboard Keepout Area. Can you control the X-Box or does the X-Box control you? ;-) The company Ibva.com is currently developing a controller, which allows the player to steer the X-BOX with his thoughts.
They are developing a kind of frontbound, which measures the brain-flows and send them via radio transmission to a special controller which allows to control the X-BOX.

A new firmware version has been released for the Linksys 4-Port router. This brings it up to 1.42.6 released on March 11, 2002. This release of firmware addresses issues that existed in the previous firmware. Read more...
