The change log for Crytek's 1.32 Far Cry Patch seems to further confirm that ATI's next-gen hardware will support Shader Model 3.0. According to the change long, Crytek has "Fixed a Shader Model 3.0 issue that caused graphics corruption on new ATI hardware."

We take the FX55 San Diego core, and test it at 2.8GHz and 3.0GHz so in effect it could also be a preview of FX59 performance if that part ever comes available. We topped out at just over 3.1GHz for overclocking with the Thermalright XP-90C. Enjoy.
