Digital Illusions has now released new client patches for Battlefield 1942, bringing their 3D multiplayer action game to version 1.45.18. This release adds compatibility with the imminent Secret Weapons of WWII expansion pack, introduces 3 new AIR controls, makes a couple of other enhancements, and fixes a handful of bugs.

Strategy First have now released their single-player demo of Etherlords II, allowing you try out this turn-based 3D fantasy role-playing strategy game being crafted at Nival Interactive. The demo offers a Combat Tutorial and two missions from the full game.

Gamers Hell reports that a playable demo of Commandos 3 has been released, coming from the covermount of a Spanish magazine called "Micromania". The demo contains 2 missions, one which is a training mission, where you command 3 characters in process of 'getting back into action', which includes stealth, killing, and so on. The second mission is the train mission.

A German playable demo of Yager is now available, offering the opportunity to try out this imminent sci-fi flying action game by Yager Development. Details on the demo are scarce but it reportedly contains three missions from the full game, and it's entirely in German so be prepared for a little guesswork wenn Sie nicht sprechen.

UnrealOps have snagged a video of the Raptor Vehicle from UT2004!

Today video is a short one but it shows a couple of cool things. First of all it shows the Raptor itself (some of you may have already seen it in the Gamespy video) and also the newly skinned Shock Rifle. It is the weapon that Dave switches to at the end of the video.
