JoWood Productions have released the English playable demo of AquaNox 2: Revelation, offering a new chance to try out this submersed 3D action game by Massive Development. This massive demo contains two instant action missions, Convoy Attack and Crawler Hideout, as well as the "Stoney in a Fix" mission from the single-player campaign.

Thanks to Brewskie over at Half Life News , Techseekers.net got a chance to talk to Valve about certain aspects of their upcoming game: Half Life 2. In short, release dates were not discussed, but they did discuss that AA problems were solved, and there will be a benchmark system released before the game ships. They also talked about a comprehensive demo playback control and camera movement in recorded demos.

3D Realms have posted the news that the September 2003 issue of Computer Gaming World Magazine has the scoop on Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.

The demo also unleashes the power of ten of the 16 new weapons in Secret Weapons of WWII. Fly and fight at the same time with the experimental German rocket pack, or buzz the skies in one of the new compact dynamo fighter planes?the Axis Natter rocket plane or the Allied F-85 Goblin. Both the Axis and Allies also have new motorcycles with machine gun-mounted sidecars, as well as amphibious assault vehicles: the German Schwimmwagen and the American LVT-2 Water Buffalo. The new Axis Flakpanzer, a T-38 tank with an anti-aircraft gun mounted on top, is a nasty beast?but it looks tame compared to the Allies? Sherman tank with a T-34 Calliope rocket launcher.

Just saw this at GamersHell. UBI Soft released screenshots of Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow. By looking the shots it looks like UBISoft has carried on where it left the game, the enviornment looks more vibrant and the detailing more real. Gamers Hell reports that the first alpha release of Modern Mod is now available for download. Modern Mod is a custom addon for GTA Vice City which replace all vehicles models with modern cars and bikes, including Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0, Ferrari F40, Corvette Stingray, Porsche 911 Carrera, Ducati 996, and more.

Gamers Hell.com reports that courtesy of Revolution Software LTD the higly acclaimed and all time classic adventure title by the name of Beneath a Steel Sky is now available for free! We have mirrored both the CD version and the floppy disk one together with latest version of SCUMM VM if you have issues running the game on any modern o/s.

A german gaming print magazine Gamestar.de reports that ATI plans to bundle the upcoming Valve Software first person shooter Half-Life 2 with its new Radeon 9900.
This speaks against the release speculation, because the offical GOLD release is set to be the 13th of September.
More info on that will be revealed in two steps by the magazine itself.

There's a new demo of TRON 2.0, updating this playable 3D cyberspace action game by Monolith Productions to the final code. This demo contains light cycle and disc combat tutorials, a full mission from the single-player campaign, a single-player light cycle map called "Newbie Authentication," and improved multiplayer code that you can try out on the "Old System" light cycle and "Battle Rings" disc arena maps.

Well, after completing MTA (Multi Theft Auto) for GTA 3... the MTA crew went on to develop a multiplayer mod for GTA : VC... Whilst improving the old mod at the same time! The mod has been released and you can grab it here: Multi-Theft Auto .com

Fileplanet have posted the first look at the new world of Tribes: Vengeance, in form of an awesome high-quality 640x480 resolution video. The movie highlights the "rag doll" physics you'll encounter in this extension to the Tribes universe.

Battle Field 1942 Mod: Galactic Conquest v0.1a ...The first release of Galactic Conquest places you on the ice planet Hoth in an epic battle of survival from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Blaze over the snow in speeders, man the anti-personnel cannons, and ready those blasters for a long battle between the Empire and Rebel forces.

Just spotted this bit of news at Planet Half-Life.com:

Just a follow-up on yesterday's Half-Life 2 delay story: to clear things up, we have confirmed directly with Vivendi Universal that there is a delay. We've even double checked. Valve has yet to send an official confirmation or denial either way on this, and other sites are reporting that there isn't a delay based on alleged email answers Gabe Newell sent to random fans. In some cases, these mails are obviously forged.
