The guys @ Gta3mta.tk have released a new unofficial multiplayer patch for Grand Theft Auto III.

As you have probably already read on your games related site, we're working on a GTA3 Multiplayer Mod, called GTA3: Multi Theft Auto! The third release, v.0.3b is now ready to be downloaded! Please check the downloads section for the file. This version has been tested a couple of times now, but of course there are some bugs in it. Please post any bugs or problems with the program in the forum under the 'problems/bugs' section.

id Software and Activision, Inc. are enlisting players for frontline combat with the free, online release of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Developed by Splash Damage, Ltd, and executive produced by id Software, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory enlists players to battle across multi-level WWII campaigns as one of five classes, gaining skills and promotions, constructing strategic assets, and battling with weapons ranging from tank-mounted machineguns to mortars. The standalone game does not require the original Return to Castle Wolfenstein and is rated "M" (Mature) by the ESRB.

Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance Retail Patch v2.0

3DGamers.com reports that a new patch for Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance is now available, upgrading the third-person stealthy action game by Konami to version 2.0. This release insures that "Captions are now displayed in the appropriate language for European users" along with the Radeon fixes of the previous patch, but if you already installed that version 1.01 you'll need to reinstall the whole game before applying v2.0.

Planet Halflife.com has posted a news tidbit that Valve Software's Erik Johnson has sent word they will be releasing an SDK before the release of their upcoming first person shooter, Half-Life 2.

And Shacknews has had a chat with Gabe Newell and Yahn Bernier from Valve about the multiplayer physics in Half-Life 2.

Half Life 2 Technology Demo Leaks To Web?

This is just a rumour at the moment but I've had a few emails says that a technology demo for Half Life 2 has leaked to the web. I am off to do some investigation! Looks like another head will roll if this is true.

Update: Well I've found some links for a supposed Half Life 2 technology demo but as the links are being hit hard I've haven't been able to download the demo! So we can not confirm anything yet! But I did get an email from someone claiming to be from Valve! The short of it: don't post links or we'll sue your ass. Since HL2 is intellectual property of Valve Software we will not post any links to any source - regardless if this rumour is true or not. Any comments containing links or instructions will be deleted.
