3Dgamers.com reports that Ubi Soft Montreal and Red Storm Entertainment have released an updated multiplayer demo of Rainbow Six: Raven Shield, bringing this upcoming squad-based tactical shooter to version 1.1.

This release adds a new map called "Import/Export Company" that's set in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and a new Escort the Pilot gameplay mode, as well as anti-cheating measures, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes and more, and along with the full demo there are patches to upgrade the original English and German demos

I've decided to show you guys how it looks at it's best on my system: 1280x1024 resolution, 6X Anti Aliasing and 16x Anisotropic Filtering. And every detail in the game itself set as high. For those who are still uncertain about buying this game, all I can say is: Do it!! I never experienced a game that looked this good and played so flexible. With the use of high-res textures and pixel shaders, ice really does look like ice and tarmac really does look like tarmac. Reflections on the car are simply stunning. Men's magazine Playboy is to launch its first ever video game in which players will get to experience life in a virtual Playboy mansion, and play the role of flamboyant company founder Hugh Heffner.

The game, which is not due out until 2004, will feature nudity and be aimed at an adult audience, according to representatives from Playboy and Arush Entertainment, the video game company that will produce the game.

GD: Were you disappointed to see the E3 demo leaked, or secretly pleased, since the overwhelming response has been positive?

TH: That was very disappointing. As a developer, as a creator of a work, you never like to see you work released in a format that wasn't under your control. It's kind of like someone coming up behind you and dropping your pants in front of everybody - it may impress the crowd, but it's not a particularly good feeling.
