C&C: Yuri's Revenge map pack 5: after a long hiatus, Westwood Studios has released the fifth and final map pack for Yuri's Revenge, adding not the usual pair but five new maps to their Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 expansion. The five multiplayer maps are titled Deep Freeze, Spirit of Mojo One, Monster Movie, River Rampage, and Sink or Swim.

Vietcong Demo Patch: Illusion Softworks have issued a patch for the recent multiplayer demo of Vietcong, their upcoming team-based tactical shooter. The patch offers over two dozen gameplay tweaks, bug fixes, and other changes as detailed in the accompanying patch info, but brings the game to version 0.97 which is not compatible with the original v0.96 demo.

Consider it a little holiday gift from the U.S. Army. While the Army game developers will spend their holiday break merging the new code drop from Epic Games into the Operations game and working on the Radio Tower map, gamers can enjoy some new goodies just in time for the new year.

Today the Army is anticipating releasing another update (Version 1.5) in a series of periodic improvements to the America's Army: Operations (www.americasarmy.com) game. The update includes new parental controls, a bigger and better Weapons Cache Special Edition map, and multiple additions, 'tweaks,' and fixes to existing gameplay.

Desert Combat is a modern day military modification to the popular war game BattleField1942 from EA. This Difficulty Setting and Multiplayer Lobby Add-On is available in English and international editions, and as the name indicates they add the single-player difficulty options and multiplayer lobby created for The Art of Conquest expansion back into the original game.
