Apparently one hit sequel wasn?t enough for Raven Software this year, they have released just another. Soldier Of Fortune 2 has been similarly well received as other recent Raven games, boosting far more detailed graphics than Jedi Outcast, the game has come around with its problems, too.

GSC Game World sends 3D Gamers a new movie trailer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost, showing their near-future first-person shooter in motion. The movie comes in regular and high resolutions, and demonstrates the engine's rendering technology in more than three minutes of impressive looking fly-by and gameplay footage, along with the first glimpse of one of the game's drivable vehicles.

HomeLAN previews Unreal 2 based on their experiences playing the upcoming Legend Entertainment first person shooter while at yesterday's press event for the Infogrames published game. Here is a snip: Because Unreal 2 is a single player only experience, Legend chose to develop the story and its characters far more than most first person shooters. While playing the game, I came away impressed at how Legend has made the main player character, John Dalton, into a slightly flawed hero. A member of a kind of space marshal service as the game opens, Dalton wants desperately to be brought back into his old profession as a space marine and as the game progresses we see that he will do and believe nearly anything to have that happen and that obsession affects his character during the game. Other characters include his friend and first officer Aida aboard his ship, the Atlantis, as well as the master engineer aboard the ship and the alien pilot, a somewhat mysterious creature encased in a suit that's friendly but who also has an interesting secret.

Epic have released an updated D3DDrv.dll for the rendering engine (patch 2136 required). You can put it in your UT2003/System directory after backing up the original file. It contains workarounds for S3 Savage 4 cards, fixes a bug in conjunction with z- pixel fog and works around a driver bug with vertex range fog on ATI cards which should fix the "brownout bug" in e.g. CTF-Face3. These fixes will be included in the next patch.

Pretty impressive what cell phones hardware are capable of nowadays... it was only a few days ago that Sega announced they would be developing games for cell phones and now this.

Following the auto-update early this week, there are now manual patches for WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos, bringing the English and European editions of Blizzard's 3D real-time strategy game to version 1.04a. This release applies a few minor game fixes, a large number of balance tweaks, and a couple of map changes, but as with every major game revision, replays and save games are not compatible with the previous version.

ATI TOLD THE INQUIRER moments ago that it could not rule out the possibility that the leaked demo of outlandish gore-fest, Doom III, came from within its walls. The company has mounted an internal investigation into the matter, PR manager Patricia Mikula told The INQUIRER. She said an investigation was a prudent move and suggested other of id Software's partners would responsibly do the same thing.

While we are not sure yet, we think they have some additional info and tools on the Doom 3 game, as well as other important information on other games in development.

PS2 Review: Still, by and large the missions are extremely enjoyable and addictive. What makes everything flow together is that they take place in a world that seems so alive. Aside from the aforementioned pedestrians, things like the nightclubs, radio songs, radio talk shows, outstanding voice acting, and great characters really make Vice City seem like a real place.

Gamespot reports that Capcom released the first information on Resident Evil Online since E3. New screens inside. Nothing has been seen of the Resident Evil Online game since E3, where Sony showed a short trailer during its press conference. Capcom has now released some early gameplay details on the game.
