The guys from ODB Productions went to the World Cyber Games where Epic's Mark Reign did a presentation on Unreal Championship. They shot a 10 minute movie of the whole presentation including in-game footage and we've got the chance to bring the whole movie to you. Download the movie (58 MB zipfile) if you are interested.

Ubi Soft Entertainment has now released the multiplayer demo for Rainbow Six: Raven Shield, allowing you to try out this upcoming squad-based tactical shooter by Red Storm Entertainment. The demo offers two maps called PRISON and CITY STREET LARGE in Survival and Team Survival modes, along with a selection of the weapons and equipment from the full game, and it requires a Ubi.com account to play over the Internet.

The multiplayer-focused expansion pack Battlefield 1942:The Road to Rome gives you more maps, more vehicles, more weapons and more fighting forces. The Road to Rome will focus exclusively on the largely underpublicized Italian and Sicilian campaigns of WWII, where you can fight on up to six new maps including Operation Husky (Sicily) and the battles for Anzio and Monte Cassino.

Electronic Arts sends along a patch for the recent multiplayer demo of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead, updating this World War II FPS to version 2.11. This patch addresses a server problem when "getting on a Mortar and then disconnecting from the server." Also available is the updated Win32 dedicated server for the retail expansion, similarly addressing this crash issue.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto is without a doubt one of the best PC/Mac games ever created. It combines a RPG/action/adventure layout with a comical, if not hilarious, single player mode. Multiplayer is available through Gamespy and All-Seeing Eye, which has allowed the game to survive for a couple years. However, Giants is losing the fuel that once drove it through lack of support by the developer, Planet Moon Studios.

As announced today by the developers Piranha Bytes the highly anticipated successor of the award winning role playing game Gothic, simply named Gothic II has gone gold (german version). The gold master disk is currently in the reproduction process so the games should be ready on the shelf by November 29th. An english localization is due out soon afterwards.

Apparently one hit sequel wasn?t enough for Raven Software this year, they have released just another. Soldier Of Fortune 2 has been similarly well received as other recent Raven games, boosting far more detailed graphics than Jedi Outcast, the game has come around with its problems, too.

GSC Game World sends 3D Gamers a new movie trailer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost, showing their near-future first-person shooter in motion. The movie comes in regular and high resolutions, and demonstrates the engine's rendering technology in more than three minutes of impressive looking fly-by and gameplay footage, along with the first glimpse of one of the game's drivable vehicles.
