LucasArts has released a playable demo of Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and lets you play the first campaign mission of the Galactic Empire and also has multiplayer enabled. You can play as either the Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance in multiplayer mode.

Codemasters announced an Operation Flashpoint add on which will feature a new campaign with 20 new missions for december 2001. This campaign will be played from the russian side and is said to have strong emphasis on guerilla tactics. There also will be a new main character by the name of Dimitri Lukin.
