To quote something I agree with "The stagnation of the game industry is dependant on the point of view of the individual". A good point, no game can satisfy the entire demographic just the same way as even the best movies are not enjoyed by everyone.

The GC movie trailer for Unreal Tournament 2007 is now online, revealing more of the futuristic multiplayer first-person shooter sequel in the works at Epic Games. Free: F.E.A.R. Combat Multiplayer Released

Sierra has released the promised Combat version of F.E.A.R., the full free multiplayer component of this supernatural first-person shooter by Monolith Productions. Not for the bandwidth impaired, this monstrous download includes no fewer than 19 multiplayer maps playable in 10 game modes with a dozen different weapons, but it requires generating a free registration key at the FEAR Combat site to install.

Sierra has released new patches for F.E.A.R. to upgrade all US and European retail editions of the supernatural first-person shooter by Monolith Productions to version 1.07. This update makes the retail game multiplayer-compatible with tomorrow's free Combat game, along with adding three new maps (Depot, Stockpile and Waterworks), new server browser features, other enhancements, bug fixes, and more. As usual the patches are accompanied by corresponding Win32 and Linux dedicated servers and an updated public tools kit.
