Apparently the game was originally conceived in 1995 but is only being released this year due to a range of dramas which have punctuated this game's long development history. I must have missed out on all the early hype because this game definitely did not register on my radar. At best even Prey fans were starting to think the game was another Duke Nukem Forever.

Sierra has quietly re-issued the recent retail patch for F.E.A.R., the supernatural first-person shooter by Monolith Productions. This version 1.06 update has doubled in size to apply not only to the US edition but all other languages as well, and as before it "corrects the loading issue with games saved before the 1.05 patch and several other various fixes."

Ubi Soft Entertainment sends along a new patch for Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, upgrading all retail and downloadable editions of the squad-based tactical shooter sequel by GRIN to version 1.20. This release includes all content of the previous Multiplayer Pack along with a couple of crash fixes and other tweaks.
