The new ForSage Drivers where released. The current release is the ForSage v5.4, based on the ATI Catalyst 5.4 Drivers. This is an Alternative Driver for video cards using the ATI Radeon Graphic Chip.

ForSage v5.4 (2000/XP)

Realtek released version 3.71 driver for their ALC AC97 audio chipsets. The driver supports all ALC series audio chipsets from ALC100 up to ALC850 mainly used as onboard sound on various motherboards.

As always, these drivers can be used on any VIA chipset based system running any Microsoft Windows 32 bit operating system, but they are recommended especially for systems running WinME, Win2K and WinXP and using KT4## series, P4X4## series and newer, for example:

Just got word that Origo3D have thrown up their ForceWare 76.44 Drivers Comparison!

They tested ForceWare 76.44 against ForceWare 76.41 ,75.90 ,71.50 ,71.25 ,71.80, 71.81 and 67.71 using a Geforce 6800 Ultra and using the following benchmarks Half Life 2 , Farcry, Doom 3, Aquamark 3, Futuremark 3D Mark 2005 120.

Here's a new set of Forceware Drivers in the shape of 76.50 for Windows 2000/XP that was leaked by Computerbase.de! They have modified .inf file, So all Cards Supported including the Quadro Series!! Dated 30th of March 2005!

Guru 3D and TweaksRUs also have a NVIDIA reference set version 71.89 WHQL , Dated 01/04/2005 , all Cards Supported.

I've updated my ATI Catalyst Tweak Guide to reflect the changes from the latest 5.4 Catalysts. The changes are not major and primarily relate to fixes for several games including KOTOR 2, Splinter Cell:CT, enhanced HDTV support and some minor changes to the ATI Control Center, but if you haven't been through the guide in detail for a while, now would be a good chance to go through and double-check all the recommendations and settings.
