ATI Catalyst 4.12 Performance Analysis @ TweakTown
Today we see the release of another ATI Catalyst driver suite (in fact the last release for 2004) and we will be seeing just how they compare against the previous 4.11 drivers. We will be comparing these drivers with our normal array of benchmarks except we have had a few new additions to our benchmark line including Half Life 2 and Doom 3. Catalyst 4.12 Out
Terry makedon from ATI has just emailed me with details of Catalyst 4.12. Terry tells us that this is the last Catalyst update for this year. Next year the numbering scheme will kick off with 5.xx (since our numbering scheme is based on calendar notation) with CATALYST 5.1...

The eVGA support page shows that they now have nVidia version 66.94 WHQL drivers for Win9x-Me available for download.
Forceware 66.93 VS Forceware 66.97
TC Mag have done some quick benchmarks with both Forceware drivers, version 66.93 and version 66.97. Forceware 66.93 is official and Forceware 66.97 has leaked to the internet today, as posted here. Both WHQL certified!

Just got word from our bro's over at Station-Drivers.com that they've snagged a new set of Catalyst Drivers version 4.11 WHQL (6.14.10.6490) with control panel 6.14.10.5131 for Windows XP/2000! Dated 24/11/2004! All Cards Supported including the RADEON X850 Series
