Dark-Tweaker have thrown up their benchies for ATi's latest Catalyst 4.5 Drivers plus a performance comparsion againist DNA,Omega,NGO,UniAN,Forsage drivers based on Cat 4.5.

These are modified/hacked ATI Catalyst drivers. The drivers have been optimized with two things in mind, better Image Quality and more/stable frames per second when compared to the official Catalyst drivers from ATI! There's also a 64-bit edition available.

Realtek released version 3.59 driver for their ALC AC97 audio chipsets. The driver supports all ALC series audio chipsets from ALC100 up to ALC650 mainly used as onboard sound on various motherboards.

AMDZone have thrown up their Performance figures for ATI's Catalyst windows XP 64-Bit edition Drivers!

Yesterday we were pleased to see ATI release Catalyst beta 1 AMD64 drivers for their Radeon line of video cards. Nvidia had beaten them to the punch, and only Windows drivers are available, but it is progress. Having tested the 64 bit UT2004 Linux demo with 64 bit Nvidia drivers we decided to see how well 32 bit games performed under the 64 bit OS and drivers. Armed with my eMachines M6805 laptop with Windows XP and Windows XP 64 loaded we were off.

AMD have now posted a newer revision of the CPU Driver used with Windows XP after pulling their earlier May 04 offering.
