Viper over hat TechConnect sent words that they have snagged a new Detonator for mobile cards for your download and testing pleasure. Today it´s v 44.82 for Windows 2K/XP multtlangauge. The driver is WHQL certified. It seems that the driver is coming from DELL. Just got word that Guru 3D have thrown up a quick Detonator comparison for the 45.23 & 45.24 drivers using the following benchmarks: RTCW, Unreal II , Serious Sam SE, Unreal 2003 and Quake III Arena.
With a test-system based on a Pentium 4 - 2.8 GHz (800 MHz FSB), 1 GB Dual Channel DDR and Springdale based mainboard I quickly ran some numbers with Detonator drivers 44.03, 45.23 and 45.24 and the help of a GeForce FX 5900 Ultra. Operating system was Windows XP.
It seems that Nvidia have uploaded Detonator driver version 45.24 to their ftp. Is this the driver Nvidia is gonna release today? Just got word from our friends at Station-Drivers that a new Nvidia Detonator driver set version 45.23 for Windows 9X/ME/NT/2000/XP is available! These drivers come from Aopen, so these should be the same as the drivers Nvidia will be releasing later today.
