SiS released new 3.11.53 Performance Drivers for their Xabre 3D VGA cards. It's very much possible that SiS 315 graphics cards are supported, too (but unofficially).

VIA released a new driver for their onboard AC97 audio chipset integrated into VIA mainboard chipsets. Supported chipsets include: 686A/B and 8231/8233/8235 integrated audio.

French site Station Drivers have found or compiled [?] a new driver set 285 for Windows XP. According to the site the driver reduces intermittent sound distortion during digital audio playback. Noteworthy is that the set includes new applications but only some: PlayCenter 3.02.61, Creative Recorder 2.00.36 and AudioHQ 1.20.02. This is proof that Creative is indeed working on the 'old' software but has not bothered to release it to customers.

The long awaited Catalyst 3.3 driver suite has been released earlier by a large OEM partner of ATI, which leaves the conclusion that the official generic drivers will see the light of day this week. Guru 3D sends word that they now have the Windows 98/ME & NT versions of Nvidia Detonator 43.51 that leaked last week.

What's interesting in this release is that NV35 (the new upcoming GeForce FX) has been included into installation information.

Matrox has released a new driver set for Parhelia 128 and 256Mbyte versions only. The driver is valid for Win 2K/XP. The new version number is 1.04.00.078; a release note list is scheduled for later today. A new utility called Monitor Manager is said to be released along with the changelog.

With the NDA lifted on the i875 'Canterwood' chipset Intel also lifted the ban on the updated chipset installation utility 5.00.1012 which has the Intel 82875P as target chipset. You can now officially download it.

Just got word that Guru 3D have got their hands on a new set of Nvidia Detonator drivers 43.51 for Windows 2000/XP.

ATI released new drivers for their line of TV tuner cards today: v1.11. The new version of ATI Multimedia center is included with it and that is v7.9.

Gateway has released a previously unknown build for Audigy 1 soundcards. Unfortunately the drivers come with an restricted installer and OEM specific inf file. I called out for people with software modding knowledge but received no reply. Update: Several people have offered their help. I did some work with an old Fujitsu update pack and managed to install. However A1 applications reported errors, so I presume new apps are needed as well. Now download the drivers as you please. Leave a comment if you have seen or created modified install routines. Realtek released driver version 3.42 for their ALC-Series soundchips. It supports all types of ALC soundchips from ALC100/P up to the new ALC655 and all OS from Win9x to XP. MSI has CMedia 9738/39 drivers 5.12.01.0029 for Win98SE/ME/W2K/XP available. Both the Realtek and the CMedia chip are widely used as OnBoard sound solutions on mainboards.

SuperMicro's FTP server is hosting the latest known version of Intel network adapter drivers. This driver release is WHQL certified and a multilanguage release. New device drivers exist for Windows 98 / ME / 2K / XP / NT as well as Linux, OS2, Solaris and DOS. The new version number is 7.0.26.0.

A new Nvidia WDM driver 1.27 has been posted. This file is required for VIVO and Personal Cinema functionality with Nvidia display adapters and not forgetting there's a new Nvidia NvFlash Tool version 4.38 out for Geforce 3/4 cards.
