I have just posted the 30.00 beta detonator driver for Win9x/ME and Win2K/XP.

The driver is dated 06/06/2002 and this is a generic multilanguage release so all Nvidia cards to date are supported. So far there's no word on performance yet.

Savagenews.com reports that the kX Audio Driver is an independent WDM (Windows Driver Model) driver for all EMU10K1 and EMU10K2-based soundcards manufactured by Creative Technology Ltd. and/or E-mu Sytems Inc., including the SoundBlaster Live! series, the E-mu Audio Production Studio (APS) card, and the Audigy series of cards.

The kX Audio Driver package includes driver system files and setup files as well as a powerful audio mixer application (the kX Mixer), which acts as a Graphical User Interface, providing access to many of the driver's internal functions.

XabreGamers reports that SiS just released a new driver set for the SiS Xabre 80/200/400: the new WHQL driver is version 3.03. I know there is a driver with a more recent version number already out (version 3.03.51), but that one isn't WHQL.

Well another week has passed and finally another Detonator build 30.30 has been leaked to the web. This is the build that was rumored to fix the Nvidia bug within 3DMark 2001 SE that produced higher scores than it should have. There are also a set of modified Nvidia drivers going around that are based on the 29.42 Detonators. This driver set is geared towards image quality as apposed to shooting for speed. Matt from 3DGPU tested the new Dets in 3DMark & Quake 3 Arena with different levels of anisotropic filtering enabled against the 29.80 version from Gainward. I guess you're in for a surprise...

There is a new Detonator version 30.30 leaked on the web for all Windows Operating Systems. Could this be Detonator 5? These drivers are dated: 06/14/2002 and contain multilanguage as well as nView support. Our very own Mark Fox was kind enough to run a quick benchmark of 3DMark 2001 SE. First spotted by Inpact-Hardware (french site) at Suma. According to Suma this release fixes a bug when displaying the DOS-box and switching back to window mode. First Radeon 9000 & 9000 PRO WHQL Drivers Released!

Well it seems that DriverHeaven.net have discovered yet another new set of ATI Radeon Drivers. They are claiming this is the first set of WHQL Drivers for ATI's upcoming Radeon 9000 & 9000 PRO (RV250). Here's what they report:

Well it seems like it has been confirmed that the RV250 will be called the Radeon 9000 and 9000 PRO (the difference being the core and memory speeds). Sapphire Technologies have posted a new driver for the RV250. They are based off the 6102 set (7.73.3) and are WHQL certified. The download weighs in at about 35MB and it includes the Control Panel, Driver Files, Hydravision and WDM files for XP, 2K and 9x.
