By making LDDM drivers available more than a full year prior to Windows Vista release, ATI provides developers with a stable, feature-enabled and performance-optimized platform for application development.
These drivers where released by videocard manufacturer Sparkle. The drivers have been WHQL tagged, which means that Microsoft took a peek at them and labeled them to be "ok".

VISTA has no control panel with the LDDM drivers. So I tried to install the normal XP drivers and found these worked with Vista and gave a Control panel just like in XP, but then there was no glass effect. From here I worked on an INF that would work with Vista and XP, after some testing and tweaking I think I have it sorted.

Just got an email that Catalyst 6.1 is available from ATI. This release is mainly a maintenance driver and cleans up a few bugs.
