Apple has given its two Mac Mini models a makeover. The £529 model now sports a 1.83GHz Core Duo processor, which is a speed bump from 1.66GHz. Meanwhile, its £399 baby brother uses a 1.66GHz Core Duo instead of a 1.5GHz Core Solo.

upon installing Windows XP and its drivers, several users have noticed a startling discovery -- Apple has underclocked the included ATI Radeon X1600 chip. By default, the Radeon X1600 is clocked at 470MHz core and its memory also clocked at 470MHz. In the MacBook Pro, both are clocked at 310MHz and 278MHz respectively.
