Guru Review sends word that their Ultimate Athlon XP Overclocking review is out!

In this review I hope to show you what is possibly the best motherboard, CPU and RAM combination available for a Socket A based system, especially when it comes to overclocking.

For me, the most important part of any system is the motherboard, the main reasons being that it is what everything connects to, it is a big factor in system stability and it plays a very important part when it comes to overclocking. My choice of motherboard was the DFI Infinity NFII Ultra which is based on the nVidia nForce 2 chipset, currently the fastest Socket A chipset. Another reason for choosing this board was due to the great results many other people have been achieving when it comes to FSB overclocking. This is most likely due to the fact that this board has the highest RAM voltage seen on any nForce 2 based board, an incredible 3.3v!

The final reason why I chose this board due to outstanding features is obviously the 4 port SATA controller, the competition provided by ASUS, Abit and Epox only provide 2 port SATA controllers. I must point out that I went with this board over the DFI Lanparty NFII Ultra Rev B due to the much lower price, and I'm not all that bothered by looks.
