PC Perspective have thrown up their review of Thermalright's all copper version of their popular NB-1 Chipset cooler for nForce2 and Intel Northbridge chips! Here's a snip.
Thermalright continues to advance the art of Northbridge chipset cooling with the release of their new copper NB-1C heatsink fan (HSF). The NB-1C is almost identical to the original aluminum NB-1, but now the heatsink is CNC machined from a forged, high purity copper block which comes with additional mounting options.
The NB-1C was specifically designed by Thermalright to meet the needs of gamers and avid overclockers to improve the overclocking ability of the Northbridge chip. This new cooler offers excellent performance in a small package thanks to the increased thermal conductivity provided by copper. The NB-1C comes with a 45 mm Delta fan and has been designed to work with both AMD (NF2, VIA KT333, and earlier NB chips) and all Intel 8x5 chipsets.
