Superkid Returns is a remake of the 1990 Action Game Superkid by Atlantis Software Ltd. Five years have passed since the young Tom Essex wandered into his uncle`s laboratory and mistakenly drank the formula, temporarily giving him the power of flight & incredible strength. Using these powers, he was able to rid New York of its warring street gangs before the formula`s effects wore off.The year is now 2094, and New York is again overrun by street gangs and a no-go area for its citizens, young and old alike.While over at his scientist uncle`s lab, Tom takes a can of cola from the lab`s refrigerator while he waits for his uncle. Not noticing the small label "New Formula!" on the back of the can, Tom takes a drink... Superkid Returns!Instructions:The city is split into three areas, each of which has some citizens to protect.A. Young girls must be rescued from the roofs of tall buildings.B. Senior citizens must be escorted safely back to the rest home, and Superkid needs to fly above open doorways before a senior citizen feels safe enough to step outside.To defeat gang members, Superkid can use his super-powers to fly into them with his fists."Crimewave Overload" meter: - this measures the crime rate in the city. As gang members shoot each other or citizens, the crime rate will rise, reduce it again by defeating gang members and rescuing citizens.
