Quick Detonator Comparison: 27.42 vs 27.51!

Published by

Hi folks, I compared the 27.51 against 27.42 (those drivers were the best for me!).
I don't have time for a big comparison.
I benchmarked it with 3DMark 2001 SE under Windows XP. Click on Read More... if you wanna see the results.

The PC they were tested on was a:
AMD Athlon 1333 (Non-Overclocked) "Real Clock 1336.35"
EPoX 8KHA+ (KT266A chipset)
256 MB RAM PC2100
VisionTek GeForce 3 (Overclocked at 235/540)
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
DirectX 8.1
These are the settings I used:
All the settings were default except
Vsync = Off
Monitor = 75Hz
If the score is bold that's the highest score of the 2 tests then. 3DMark Score 7612 3D marks Game 1 Car Chase - Low Detail 118.0 FPS

So the 27.51 wins this battle! And i'm gonna keep those drivers! There was some problems with 27.51 for example that 3 files are unavailable the files for nView but the strangest thing is.. it does work! So many of us didn't know if they were real. But they are! (but every computer is different, so maybe on other computers they work different ) TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!! Regards,
