Hardware Zone have thrown up a no holds barred interview with MSI's Vincent Lai.
MSI is one of Taiwan?s largest motherboard manufacturer and they have captured the hearts of many users around the world. One of the top-tier motherboard manufacturers in the world, MSI has grown to be a company that produces not only motherboards, but a whole lot of other interesting hardware as well. Today, we talk to one of their top executives, Vincent Lai, Manager of MSI?s Marketing Department. This interview was conducted late of last year and due to the sensitivity of the topics discussed, we were only allowed to release the interview today.
HWZ : If MSI moved aggressively to provide graphics solutions based on the ATI RADEON range of graphics processors, how do you think that would impact the graphics market? And how does it affect your close relationship with NVIDIA?
Vincent : I don?t think it will affect our relationship with NVIDIA because we have held back our plans for a very long time and in fact, we are one of the last manufacturers to move into the ATI camp. In a way, MSI have given NVIDIA a lot of time to pick up in their competitiveness, but due to market forces and customer demands, we have to add ATI's products into our VGA line-up in order to stay competitive.
