NextSensor 2.4.0.0 Build 0618 Beta1 has been released! It features a new function called Thermal Alarm, which is designed to prevent the processor from overheating. The Thermal Alarm consists of the two sub functions ? automatic CPU Clock Throttling that can be activated for any processor and automatic FID/VID transition specific for the AMD64 processors only.
NextSensor is an easy to use temperature and voltage monitoring tool. It probes the AMD64 on-die thermal diode, Vcore, VDIMM, VAGP, VBAT, 5VSB, 3VSB, +12, -12, +5V, -5V, +3.3V sensor lines and shows system temperatures (including processor, HDD and North Bridge) in the Tray Bar. The program is capable of monitoring negative temperatures, includes the NextSensor Remote Monitor function that allows to remotely monitor voltage, temperature and fan speed parameters.
