I usually NO-CD Crack every game I buy, I haven't done it yet for Morrowind, and saw this thread.(Morrowind's website has been down often and very slow lately)
OMG!!! I can't believe how much difference this makes! The game loads about three times faster now, and loading savegames is at least twice as fast! There's even a FPS improvement of about 10-15%, though I have no rational explaination for this as safedisc shouldn't affect the rendering (NOT placebo effect -- verified with the FPS option turned on)!
