Now, a couple years after the initial introduction of the MR series, Mackie has revised it and come out with the MRmk2 series. The MK2 ushers in more than just some small changes over the MR series. The MK2 ushers in Mackie's re-voiced power amplifiers, an entirely new transducer designer and changes to the waveguide, baffle and overall cabinet design. This is quite a list of changes to make on what was already a great and affordable monitor design - let's take a closer look at these changes and put the MR8mk2's up against the original MR8's to see if the changes are worth it!
