Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical Review

Digitalinsanity.org has just wrapped up a review on Logitech's newest cordless offering, the silver and black Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical. It's a 5 page article that features an in-depth discussion of Logitech's cordless technology and weeds through Logitech's self-glorifying technical features.

I first spotted Logitech's latest cordless keyboard and mouse package at CompUSA and was immediately hooked by it's sleek curves, silver and black body, and unique features. For quite some time, I had been searching for a replacement to my horrible generic "multimedia" keyboard (which included a horrible driver package and a tendency to ignore letter repetitions). After I moved into my concrete cubicle at my college's residence halls, I finally decided that I now required a new keyboard, one that would provide a bit of increased convenience for my mp3 and DVD/DivX collections. Given my space constraints (my dorm room is 8 feet by 12 feet), I wanted a cordless package that was easily usable from my bed (which is a good 4 to 6 feet away from my desk) so I could operate my computer with comfort while relaxing (yes, that means that I'm quite lazy).
