Here they are , the NDA is over and out they come! we have 6 reviews of the Intel's Pentium 4 2.8Ghz for your reading pleasure.

VR-Zone has done up a review on the Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz which is currently the fastest P4 to date. The clock speed has doubled since the launch of the first Pentium 4 processor at 1.4Ghz and Intel has been on track of the Moore's Law. We have compared the relative performance of the P4 1.4Ghz to the P4 2.4AGhz, 2.4BGhz, 2.53Ghz as well as the P4 2.8Ghz. There is a change in the stepping of the P4 2.8Ghz denoting an improvement in the manufacturing process which is mostly likely due to the 300-mm wafers.. The overclockability of the P4 2.8Ghz exceeds the current P4 processors where i am able to overclock it to 3.3Ghz air cooled.

TweakTown The latest processor from Intel has been released today which means our NDA has lifted and reviews of the new 2.8GHz monster is making appearances all over the Internet on various hardware sites, including ours. TweakTown gives us a look at the fastest Pentium 4 processor to date which is bridging the gap to 3GHz

ViaHardware Part of the reason the AthlonXP 2600+ came off so well, however, was the timing of its launch. Its been known for some time that Intel intended to release a higher-clocked P4 around the end of August, and AMD definitely timed the introduction of their new AthlonXP to fall just before Intel's own launch date. While the 2600+ performed excellently when paired against the Pentium 4 2.53 GHz, Intel has upped the ante considerably today, with the release of the Pentium 4 2.8 GHz. Will AMD's new core still be competitive against a P4 running 667 MHz (approximately 30%) faster than the 2600+'s speed of 2.13 GHz? Even if it does, can the AthlonXP continue to ramp at the speed the 2600+ seems to demonstrate?

HardOCP For our review, we will be looking at the 2.80GHz CPU. With this processor launch, Intel once again is hoping to counter AMD and snatch away the performance crown from their rival. Whether or not Intel is capable of one upping AMD?s latest offering is something we will see today, so let?s get started.

Toms Hardware Recent events in the world of CPUs have been comparable to a duel on a lonely German autobahn on a warm summer night: the big Mercedes, equipped with all options, drives on at consistently high speed and thus manages to remain in the lead. Suddenly, unexpectedly, the Ferrari (fitted with standard options only, no aircon) comes up from behind and overtakes the Mercedes, and both cars jockey for the lead.

SimHQ Intel is today announcing another set of CPUs to their payload of Pentium 4 parts. Today Intel is launching the fastest desktop processor developed at 2.80GHz. While AMD has been struggling to get their .13m parts out and play "catch up" with Intel, Intel has been working their roadmap and firing off new CPU parts at their leisure. Today, they are striving ever closer to 3GHz while again pulling away from AMD.
