Yesterday was a busy day for Half-Life 2 news! So Let's kick off with Newoin's Half Life 2 WinHEC Demo! which then will be followed up by 11 Live shaky-cam videos from Valve at Halflife2.net and finally we have Telenet that got to check out Valve Software Offices with some exclusive pictures from their vist!
Half-Life 2 Demo Unleashed
As far as I know we are the only guys that noticed the fact that Half Life 2 was demo'd at WinHEC 2004 and the only ones to record the whole thing, although the actual footage is old it certainly looks awesome on the X800. Half Life 2 has faced delay after delay but Gabe Newell from Valve software confirmed a Summer 2004 release along with the claim that the game will run better on the X800 from ATi than the 6800 from Nvidia. As promised in the "The Whiteboard Incident" thread, Flanger and I (mostly Flanger) have the eleven videos for your viewing pleasure. They require the XviD video codec, available in the Gordian Knot Codec Pack.

Strikeman, known as crew from the biggest Belgian lanparty, made an exclusive report with pictures about his visit to the Valve studios in Seattle, Washington. Travel with him to the offices where Half-Life 2 is developed.
