Free Deleted File Recovery can recover deleted files from your computer or any attached drives.Start by selecting the drive you want to scan for files. We selected our main drive in VMWare which is only about 50GB and the scan completed in just a couple of minutes. It claims to have found 33,000 files, which seems unlikely. However, we saw items recently deleted. If you don't see the files, you're looking for you can do a Deep Scan, but expect that to take some time.By default, Free Deleted File Recovery has all files and folders checked by default which is backwards. Unless you want to recover thousands of files, you'll need to uncheck the main drive, then find the folders you want to recover from and then select that.Once you choose the folder you want to recover, you can choose a folder to save it to. Obviously, you don't want to keep it in the same place it's being recovered from, and Free Deleted File Recovery warns you of that. Once you've recovered your files, Free Deleted File Recovery will open the folder for you.As you might have noticed, Free Deleted File Recovery is Freemium. The limitations are 100MB of data recovered.
