While everyone has been extremely busy at DivX, fine tuning the DivX Media Format and getting ready for the DivX 6.0 release, the codec team, who finished the codec related work months ago, found the time to start working on the next codec release. The preliminary results are just mind blowing. In fact, the results are so impressive that we couldn?t wait to share them with you. Although it?s highly unusual to release two different version of the same product on the same day, that?s exactly what we decided to do.
