Company of Heroes 1.3 Patch released today

Published by

It has been announced that the Company of Heroes 1.3 Patch is to be officially released today. The game is gathering great community support recently because the creators (Relic) are taking an active interest in supporting the need of its customers, something EA could do looking into.

Official Statement:
Relic will be releasing the Company of Heroes 1.3 Patch tomorrow, Wednesday, November 15th at 11 AM PST. At this time the server will be down while the patch goes live.

This patch will include a number of new features, including a new six player map, improved replay functionality, and IME support for Windows XP and Vista. We are also including improved SLI performance on Nvidia systems using the latest drivers. We will also be fixing a number of bugs, including graphics and text fixes, unit selection, crashing, and gameplay. We are also adding a number of balance changes that will be fully detailed in the changelog included with the patch. Finally, the patch will come with mod tools, including the Worldbuilder, MovieMaker, and scenario pack support. It should be noted that the mod tools are still beta. Although there are some minor issues with the Worldbuilder, we will be actively supporting this through the Relic Mod Wiki located online at http://wiki.RelicRank.com. For the future, we are also working on Relic Online connectivity, server, arbitration, and starting location fixes to be released at a later date. Online issues are our main priority at the moment and we have a full team dedicated to solving these issues as fast as we can.

Thank you for your support for Company of Heroes and we hope you enjoy the patch.

Sincerely,

The Relic Team
