On August 21st 2004, the XPde Team released XPde 0.5.1. This release includes a Start Menu and completes the desktop paradigm. Go to the downloads section to get binaries and source.
For all of you who have never heard of XPde, it's a desktop environment (XPde) and a window manager (XPwm) for Linux. It tries to make the transistion from Windows XP to Linux easier. Nothing more, nothing less... Their is no clipboard compatibility between Gtk and Qt applications, no emulation of Windows applications, no unification on the widgets of X applications, just a desktop environment and a window manager.
