59Hardware.net takes a look at a video card that is not based on ATI or Nvidia graphics technology, but on the XGI Volari V8. This entry-to-mid-level videocard is intended to compete with the likes of ATI's 9600SE.
The card was compared in this review to ATI's 9600 and 9600 Pro as well as nVidia's GeforceFX 5600 and 5700 under 3DMark, Aquamark, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider, Quake III and Call of Duty and the Volari card fared rather well.
