For the second year VIA will be attending Gnomedex, with the this year's event taking place in beautiful Lake Tahoe. At the show VIA will be demonstrating the latest and greatest personal electronics integrating VIA?s latest technology, and holding a number of special events including a Live Recording Session, and some awesome giveaways.
To help demonstrate the power of the everday PC as a high definition recording device, VIA will be hosting the Silicon Valley Houserockers (www.svhouserockers.com) and doing a live recording of their performance, and then making the recording available on CD to attendees the very next day. The recording system will use a high end soundcard that integrates VIA?s Envy24 Audio Controller, an AMD64 processor, and VIA?s K8T800 Pro chipset.
