Slowly the end of the development of TVTool 7.0 is in sight. In that version nView (formerly called TwinView) will be supported on GF2-MX and GF4 cards. This is probably interesting especially for GF2-MX card owners as the standard graphics card drivers don´t offer any overscan support (fullscreen without black borders). Also digitally connected (DVI) flat panel displays will be supported, as well as notebooks with GF2Go chips. This version should be available within this month.
There are many inquiries concerning the support of the TV chip NV17, which is used on GF4-MX cards. Unfortunately the manufcaturer of the chip, nVidia, doesn´t offer any datasheets nor any technical support. Without datasheets the support is not possible most likely. If there should be a change about this situation it will be posted on the site. So stay tuned!
