Google fixes a security lapse caused by a Turkish firm which could have let criminals pass off bogus sites as those belonging to the search giant.

"Google looked at the signing chain on the certificate and determined the bogus *.google.com certificate was issued by an intermediate Certificate Authority that gained its authority from Turkish CA TURKTRUST"
