Thermochill's history has been a success story since its inception. Thermochill was born in Winter 2002, releasing it's first radiators in February of 2003,when two UK companies joined forces to remedy a situation of severe stock shortages of PC Watercooling focused radiators in the UK market. Thermochill was thereby created to build radiators in the UK, for the UK Market, and thus the HE series of radiators was conceived and released.

The HE Series was legendary in it?s day? reviews heralded it as the King of Watercooling, and it brought with it the birth of the Triple-120mm radiator, a standard now adopted as a commonly available size by nearly all radiator manufacturers. ThermoChill's star was shining due to our product performance guarantees and high build quality which drove the high demand and popularity of quality manufactured PC water-cooling radiators that all serious enthusiasts insisted on. Over time though competitive forces meant that Thermochill could not rest on its laurels and in keeping with Thermochill's quest to provide quality and high performance radiators it was finally time to consider updating the successful HE radiator line-up.

In March 2005, ThermoChill?s Technical Manager (Marci) struck up a working relationship with well-known Aussie Block Producer Little-River (aka Cathar) in what was thought to be a one time venture, the outcome of which was the PA160.1 radiator? a radical step in a different direction, designing a radiator optimised for maximum performance from a single silent fan. Now many out there have asked ?Why isn?t there a PA160.2??. The answer was always the same, it wasn?t necessary and no case on the market would accommodate it, making it an unviable solution for mass retail. The success of the PA160.1's design approach, and the demand for increased single-radiator performance led to the logical conclusion that the HE series of radiators could perhaps benefit from being updated using the same design principles as found in the PA160.1, to produce a new series of compact and higher-performance radiators.

Continuing the relationship between ThermoChill and LittleRiver, Marci and Cathar set to work to realise the discoveries of the PA160?s performance in a new 120mm series of radiators.

In August 2005 this collaborative effort bore fruit. After 5 months of research, many revisions of prototypes experimenting with various theories, and a pile of engineering time, we?re proud to announce the 3rd Radiator Series from ThermoChill: introducing the PA120 Series of PC-Watercooling radiators.

The PA120 radiator series features a dual-row dual-pass 120mm form factor, available in single, double and triple sizes, optimised for the fans of today and putting into practice everything learned about watercooling efficiency and performance over the past 3 years. The PA Series boasts from 10-40% better performance over the HE Series. 10% for the high / noisy airflow end of the fan market, and up to 40% for the low airflow / silence end of the market.

What does this mean to you as an end-user? You can retain the same performance for even less noise, or better performance for the same noise over your current radiator. If at the end of the day performance is all that matters to you and noise is of no concern, the new PA Series still offers significant improvements over the HE series. Alternately if silence is the goal, you can now have that too, but with more cooling performance than ever before!

This new product line will be available for retail purchase in the week commencing 26th September. We expect the series to be available from ThermoChill International Resellers by mid-October. We at ThermoChill recognise that we may not offer the cheapest radiator solutions, but ThermoChill's mission as always is to provide the highest performance and highest quality radiators on the market. Correspondingly we believe that the new PA120 Series is the best performing 120mm format series of radiators currently available, thus enabling Thermochill to retain the crown ? ?King of Cool?.
