Due to some recent documents that have been posted, I have decided to go ahead and post the entire story concerning The Pits and FIRST, in it's entirety, and with nothing removed or changed. Due to the fact I believe insuring only FACTS are posted, I will do it in a chronological manner and try my best to keep my bias out of it.
I will also state that while I will try to keep bias out of it, it takes a lot of effort. I have attempted to not post on forums about this, to try to rectify matters with FIRST in a peaceful and responsible manner, but it appears that FIRST will stop at nothing to continue to harrass sim editors, for what reason I really have no idea. Please also note that I will mention only in this one paragraph that problems with FIRST have started from the point in time that Project Wildfire was created, including pirating of material legally created by David Noonan's converter and disparaging remarks about The Pits by John Henry among a multitude of other things. However, enough of the old news. We feel that the community should KNOW what is going on and what FIRST (iRacing) is really about.
