Sun Microsystems have now released OpenOffice Build 641C which was formerly known as StarOffice!

OpenOffice.org is the open source project through which Sun Microsystems is releasing the technology for the popular StarOffice productivity suite. It is an international office suite that will run on all major platforms and provide access to all functionality and data through open-component based APIs and an XML-based file format. The OpenOffice.org project establishes the necessary facilities to make this open source technology available to the developer community.

Transparency color controls at the 'Fade object' TabPage of 'Interaction' dialog have been removed

The doctype of our SVG export has been changed to the latest specification

The HTML import of Writer and Calc now supports all HTML4 character entities

Table autoformats store asian and complex font settings

Writer's HTML filter now saves and loads language information

There are three new paper sizes on the tabpage "Format - Page - Page"

Now the attributes listbox of the search&replace dialogue (only available if the writer is the current application) contains CJK attributes and other new attributes
