Canon has announced seven PowerShot digital cameras on Feb 9 2004. Equipped with 3.2 to 8 MegaPixels sensors, they are packed with more features to cater the needs of beginners to advanced shooters. On 26 March 2004, the first batch of these digicams has arrived in Singapore. HardwareZoom has already reviewed the top of the line PowerShot Pro1 with 8MP sensors, in this articles we will take a closer look at the rest of the series. They are:

* Canon Powershot Pro 1
* Canon PowerShot S1 IS
* Canon PowerShot A75
* Canon PowerShot A310
* Canon Ixus 500
* Canon Ixus 430
* Canon Ixus IIs

Most of these models are enhanced versions of their predecessors. They are equipped with more features and better designs. Some of the highlight will be PowerShot Pro 1 and the PowerShot S1 IS. In a later section, we will learn how to choose a suitable camera for yourself, your family members or as presents.
