Doobey Dooo lets me know that VR-Zone have reviewed the new Serial ATA based Seagate Barracuda V 120GB hard drive. Here's a byte:

When you flip the drive over to its backside, you can see that the new SATA drives have different data and power connections, when comparing them to the old Parallel ATA standards. Also like mentioned before, the wires are very flexible and thin, and they will only fit one way, so the risk of damaging the drive by improper installation is almost non existent.
